At little squiggles we enjoy lots of activities and have a wonderful playroom with lots and lots of toys for children of all ages.
Depending on the ages and stages of the children we enjoy arts and crafts, messy play, cooking, dressing up, puzzles, reading stories, music and dance, bug finding, playing games, feeding the ducks, treasure baskets and many more … and for the babies and younger children we have playmats, a learn and groove station, a jumparoo and many rattles, soft toys and exciting noisy light up toys!
We have a lovely safe enclosed garden for the children to play outside should they choose. We have a trampoline, ride on trikes, outdoor role play toys, sand and water pit and a paddling pool for the summer (Under strict supervision only).
We also really enjoy growing plants at home, some of the children’s favourites have been growing sunflowers, tomatoes, carrots and cress… we encourage the children to plant, water and then eat there produce as part of a healthy lunch or dinner.
We also enjoy nature walks, in autumn we collect acorns, conkers and fallen leaves, in winter we splash in puddles and (hopefully) play in the snow. As the weather gets warmer again we will enjoy picnics in the park.
I have a fully insured Kia Sportage, the children travel in my car with age appropriate safety restraints. I have a full clean driving licence.
I will always speak to the children before and whilst out about road safety and stranger danger. I encourage children to walk nicely together.
I have detailed risk assessments for any outing we partake in, these are available to see at any time, if we plan a new outing I will endeavour to visit the place first and carry out a risk assessment, to ensure it is a safe environment for the children.
We regularly attend local toddler groups, local parks and playgrounds, our allotment, the library, the local market, Church Farm, Sandringham, High Lodge and Farmer Freds.
